中國經濟成長率趨緩,但消費者口袋裡的錢仍較20年前成長20倍。看準高價產品市場,統一去年起鎖定研發毛利率35~40%以上的方便麵及飲料「2.0產品」,事實證明,中國消費者只怕東西不好、不怕貴。統一中控總經理侯榮隆表示,今年2.0產品占統一產品比例17至20%,預計後年將推升至40%。

中國經濟成長率趨緩,但消費者口袋裡的錢仍較20年前成長20倍。看準高價產品市場,統一去年起鎖定研發毛利率35~40%以上的方便麵及飲料「2.0產品」,事實證明,中國消費者只怕東西不好、不怕貴。統一中控總經理侯榮隆表示,今年2.0產品占統一產品比例17至20%,預計後年將推升至40%。

根據最新財報,統一中控今年上半年在中國大陸總營收為人民幣120.05億元,較去年同期微跌2.9%,但在毛利率部分,卻來到37.8%,創近年新高;影響所及,其稅後獲利更高達6.87億元,較去年同期近乎翻倍漲成長了93.2%。侯榮隆說,中國大陸人口已突破14億,而統一接下來的市場策略,將放在消費力金字塔頂端20%的消費者身上,原因是統一在台灣深耕近40年累積的核心能力,包括創新、研發及企業文化,都在呼應高價值產品的生產,「未來我們決定放手去打這場仗!」侯榮隆去年Q4為內部2.0產品訂下門檻,分別是方便麵毛利率35%、定價人民幣5元以上,飲料毛利率40%、定價4元以上;並在昆山同時成立兩個相互競爭的研發團隊,配合消費者全程參與包裝、口味、定價,為統一持續推出高價、高毛利率產品,建立了不能走回頭路的渠道。方便麵新品牌「冠軍榜」去年底應運而生,定價每碗人民幣10元,不但是中國市場有史以來單價最高的方便麵,價格更是一般產品的2到3倍以上,仍受消費者青睞;飲料的2.0明星產品首推「小茗同學」冷泡茶,今年3月一推出就在中國市場造成轟動。侯榮隆強調,「冠軍榜」、「小茗同學」或許不便宜,但因統一團隊在研發過程中,能夠傾聽消費者的需要與聲音,而只要產品特色夠「接地氣」,熱賣就是必然的結果。(中國時報),
